There’s weird food news that I’m not sure how I feel about.
If you thought my last post was trivial, this one is totally unnecessary.
They’re kinda kooky, maybe awesome, and potentially totally lame.
So I thought I’d run them by you:
Beauty and the Beast Themed Restaurant (with Booze!)
What it is:
Disney World is nearly done with a Beauty and the Beast restaurant called “Be Our Guest.” Its supposed to seat 500 people inside a set of that ballroom scene, serve French food, and also be the first restaurant at the park to serve beer and wine.
Awesome or Not Awesome?
Awesome. I don’t know why Disney has been living in prohibition times until now. The place could use some wine and I’m dying to have a place where talking to furniture is totally acceptable. However, its reported that despite the name, an adjacent Gaston’s Tavern will not serve alcohol. WTF?!
Unicorn Poop Cookies
What it is:
A new trend in the food world. Unicorns are all the rage lately, so why not feast on their poop?
Awesome or Not Awesome:
Not that awesome.
Even though I’m a big fan of unicorns and an even bigger fan of cookies, I don’t think I can be behind this trend. Its way better than drinking wheat grass of the cake pop thing so its got some “awesome” bonus points, but I was never a fan of that saying, “eat shit”.
Anthony Bourdain Reads from Snooki’s Book
What it is: Badass chef, Anthony Bourdain, vocalizes Snooki’s literature on the internet.
Awesome or Not Awesome:
Eh….Kinda awesome, kinda not.
I had high expectations for this, but after I watched the video, I was a little disappointed. It would’ve been better if her wore a snooki wig. Plus it reminded me that I’m jealous of Snooki and I really don’t need a reminder of that.
But, this video wins major bonus points for hearing Bourdain say “poof”.
So what do you guys think about these things? Awesome? Not Awesome?

I think the cookies are awesome and so is the restaurant. Anything to do with Snooki – not awesome at all.
